Worship at St. Dunstan's
Brief History
Our services are traditional Holy Eucharist (Rite One at 8:00 am and Rite Two at 10:00 am). Children may attend "Children's Chapel" during the sermon of our 10:00 am service. Sunday School and an Adult Forum are held at 9:00 am each week. This year we have also had Morning Prayer at 9:30 am on Thursdays.

Many ministries provide support for our worship. A strong, reliable and active group of acolytes, crucifers, altar guild, lay readers, choir and Lay Eucharistic Ministers (LEMs) take an active role each Sunday.

Their faithful and dedicated service allows us to pray and celebrate in an atmosphere of peaceful beauty. As an outreach of our worship, the LEMs share Morning Prayer and Holy Communion on Sunday's with the residents of the Merry Heart Health Care Center in Succasunna.

An integral part of our worship is the fellowship that occurs after the services each Sunday. Coffee and food is served, and both young and old can enjoy time together.

Special services and celebrations during the year include the Children's Christmas Pageant, The Festival of Lessons and Carols, and the Stations of the Cross on Good Friday.

Many of our children participate in the service as well. They serve as acolytes and crucifers and bring to the Altar the weekly children's offering.
