| St. Dunstan's is seeking a Rector whose duties would include Pastoral
Care, Church Growth and Development, support of Christian
Education and Youth Work, Teaching, thought provoking
Preaching and Administration of the Church.
The congregation of St. Dunstan's would expect our next rector
to support the achievement of our growth objectives by possessing
the ability to:
1. Lead and support the implementation of the Strategic Plan,
including growth, communication, youth, and facilities expansion
objectives
V Generate new ideas
V Innovative leadership
V Act as a liaison between St. Dunstan's
and the community
2. Lead the Congregation in involved Worship
V Strong preaching abilities
V Support of active lay participation,
including lay readers, acolytes, crucifers, choir and presenters
V Liturgical instruction of the
Congregation
3. Energize the congregation to participate in the life of
the church
V Encourage active thriving ministries
V Possess strong interpersonal skills
V Actively participate in parish
events
4. Support and work with the youth minister in the implementation
of youth programs
V Relate to, and guide young people
V Actively participate in youth
events
V Develop an awareness of Diocesan
programs and encourage participation in these programs
