| Housing |
St. Dunstan's provides a 4 bedroom, Center Hall
Colonial Rectory on the Church grounds and includes utilities.
In addition, a paved walking path exists between the Rectory
and Church parking lot. |
| Social Security Offset |
St. Dunstan's will provide an offset against
the social security self-employment tax equal to 50% of the
equivalent social security tax on salary. |
| Business Expenses |
St. Dunstan's will offer a business expense
account, including automobile expenses for mileage at the
IRS approved rate, tolls, and parking, of $3,000 annually. |
| Education Benefits |
The Rector is encouraged to participate in continuing
clergy education. The Parish will provide one full week of
continuing education time per year and a cash allowance of
$500 annually. |
| Vacation |
St. Dunstan's will offer four full weeks of
vacation leave each year, accumulated at the rate of one week
per quarter of service. It would be expected that vacation
time would be scheduled in such a way that no more than four
Sundays are missed. In addition, the Parish budgets for a
four week supply clergy allowance for Rector illnesses and
emergencies. |
| Housing Equity |
St. Dunstan's understands that a Rector living
in our Church supplied housing will not benefit from any equity
appreciation that may accompany home ownership over an extended
period of time. St. Dunstan's will pay 5% of total compensation
annually to the Rector as a housing equity allowance. This
fund will be vested with the Rector at the end of the fifth
year of service to St. Dunstan's. |
| Parental Leave |
St. Dunstan's will provide the Rector with paid
leave for being a new parent. This includes eight weeks with
pay if the Rector is the primary caregiver and two weeks with
pay as the non-primary caregiver. |
| Sabatical Leave |
St. Dustan's will provide the Rector with a
three-month Sabbatical leave every six years of service to
the parish. St. Dunstan's will set aside funding in the amount
of $1,400 annually for sabbatical leave and related supply
clergy expenses |
