The Altar Guild is now arranging the flowers for the altar, and Mike at Netcong Florist is supplying the flowers. Mike has been graciously giving us a huge discount on the cost and has gone out of his way to help. Anyone needing flowers might consider visiting Mike's business, and while you are there let him know how much we appreciate his generosity to St. Dunstan's. The Altar Guild has also been cleaning house and updating our vestments and supplies. We now have new stoles and chasubles for Lent/Advent (purple), Holy Week/Pentecost and saints' days (red), and Christmas/Easter (white). New vestments are on order for our faithful acolytes, and we are providing more beautiful flowers. A lot of work has gone into polishing brass and silver, and we even have a new floor in the sacristy.

We do have some needs. Most of our linens have served many Eucharists and need replacing. Our chalices, too, are showing wear -- losing their finish. We could also use a new altar book and a new Gospel book. Any of these needs could be met by a gift in memory of a loved one, or in thanksgiving. Speak to any member of the Altar Guild.
